Race 4: Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Auburn Regional Park

The center piece of this sprawling park has a large pond encircled by a paved walkway. A year-round creek meanders through the north end of the park, and playground and picnic areas are nested in shaded areas. The park also features an 18-hole Frisbee golf course, considered one of the best in northern California. Picnic tables are scattered through out the park on rolling terrain.

Course description: The course at Auburn Regional is likely to be a new favorite. Grassy rolling hills will lead to a flowing Euro feel, while a technical dirt descent down to the creek combined with a sand pit and run ups will certainly test your fitness.

Race support: Pete Tipshus, owner of Happy Trails Mechanical Support and long-time supporter of Sacramento Cyclocross, will be out at this race if you have a last-minute bike crisis.
