Race 8: Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Historic Old Sacramento

You will register online one time, and it is your only chance to save money on the season! After you register online, you may race any other race in the series -- just bring your bib and RFID chip to registration on race morning and pay.

You will be issued a waterproof, resuable RFID chip at your first race, and you will keep the chip all season. A $20 deposit for the chip will be added to your first race, and it will be refunded when you return the chip at the end of the season.

Course length: 2.18 miles

Elevation gain per lap: 150 feet

Course direction: Counter clockwise

Bibs: On the left

Pre-riding note: Due to road closures and other course set-up constraints, the course will open for pre-riding at 9:15 am. Please do not ride the course before this time. Athletes may pre-ride the course while other races are going on as long as they do not interfere with a racer's right to race.

Team area note: Cars may not park in the team area! If you wish to set-up a tent in the team area, please check-in with the course marshal at the corner of I Street and Firehouse Alley. They will let you drive in and drop off your supplies.

Course description: We'll be closing out the 2014 Sacramento Cyclocross season with an epic course though the heart of Sacramento. Racers will get to ride up on the boardwalk, through the train depot, dive down to the bike path along the river, and finish on the cobblestones of Front Street.
